Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who wish to apply must fulfill these requirements below to be eligible under Investigator Grade-I:
Essential Educational Qualifications:
- Masters of arts in any one of these fields:
- Economics / Applied Economics / Business Economics / Econometrics
- Mathematics / Statistics / Commerce (with an optional course in Economics)
Candidates with previous research experience in labor market studies, analysis of data, or statistical modeling are preferred.
Job Responsibilities
The selected candidates will assist in:
- Supervising Collection of Data:
- Ensure that the data collected from different sources is valid, real, and trustworthy.
- Facilitate primary data collection with field investigators.
- Analysis and Tabulation Related to Data:
- Verification and checking of takes.
- Help in preparing and reporting the labour statistics of the government.
- Drafting Reports:
- Analytical and descriptive in detailed reports on labour market research.
- Provide analysis on employment trends together with other economic indicators.
- Supporting Policy Formulation:
- Assist policymakers by supplying relevant economic and static data.
- Contribute to research endeavors in labour economics.
This position would require application of the knowledge in statistical methods, economic analysis, and research methodology.
